Vitamin D saves you from Cancer

Researchers have revealed Vitamin D as a prevention tool for cancer as it inhibits the growth of cancer cells by arresting cell replication cycles and promoting death of the cancer cells in ovarian, prostate and colon cancer. Particularly, in breast cancer, cancerous cells depend on estrogen hormone to grow Vitamin D inhibits estrogen production effectively, thereby preventing breast cancer.

 Breast cancer awareness app launched in INDIA

     Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan launched a mobile application named 'ABC of Breast Health' at an event in Mumbai. The actor, who is a tuberculosis and Hepatitis B conqueror, said that timely detection, treatment and awareness can help a person survive any disease. This is the first-ever mobile app in the world dedicated to breast health and is launched in 12 most popular languages in the country.
